Skills Training

Event Schedule (subject to change, please check back often for updated information)
  • 9:00am - Registration opens (sign on ends 15 minutes prior to each start)
  • 9:30am - Belgian Waffles by Patisserie Lebeau and Coffee by Caffe Umbria
  • 10:00am - Neutral Support by Vancouver Bike Galley
  • 10:30am - Citizen Women/Men, U19/U17/U15/U13 (40 minutes)
  • 11:30am - Open/Master Women, Cat 3/4 and Master 3/4 Men (45 minutes)
  • 12:30pm - Free Kids' Race by Steed Cycles 3-7 years (5 minutes) and 8-12 years (10 minutes)
  • 12:30pm - BBQ is heating up (still working out details, with veggie options of course)
  • 1:00pm - Elite Men (60 minutes), Masters Men 1/2 and Single Speed (45 minutes)

Note: Mountain bikes allowed in all races except Cat 1/2 races.  Only cyclocross bikes per UCI regulations are allowed for Cat 1/2 races. Disc brakes are allowed for all races.

Open to any of the following
  • UCI, USCF and CCA (incl. Cycling BC) license holders or Cycling BC Citizen license holders.
  • One-day license from Cycling BC is available for $10.
  • All kids age 12 and under (for Free Kids' Race).
  • Please note: Medical coverage is not available at the event for non-BC racers, and should be acquired in advance from a suitable provider.


Entry fees and registration
  • Get better start line assignment by registering online until Friday, September 27th at 10:00 PM.

  • Race day registration $35.00 CAD/USD
  • Racers from Vancouver Island and the U.S. are welcome to stay overnight. Come and race both Vancouver races New Brighton (Sat.) and Vanier Park (Sun.). Please contact us (see the Contact Information section below) and we will arrange accommodation.
  • $10.00 one day event insurance for non-license holders, available at day-of registration or via online registration
  • Kids' Cross entries FREE
  • Race Day registration closes 30 minutes prior to each start, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Who is West Coast Cycling ?

West Coast Cycling  is a community cycling club operating as a not-for-profit society run entirely by volunteers from within its membership. Various outdoor and indoor cycling programs are run by West Coast Cycling year-round for mountain bikers, road riders, and cyclocrossers. West Coast Cycling is also the organizer of the Cardiac Classic BC Cup Cross Country event and the West Coast Super D.

The Trek Red Truck Racing Team is committed to develop young cyclists to reach their fullest potential in their cycling endeavors and as individuals. Through our sponsors and friends' support, we provide an environment where our young athletes can compete at the highest level while still maintaining their educational pursuits.
